Ok, I've come to my wits end. I'm out of ideas, I've made a long list of characters however not a single one of them has made it. They are either being done already, in works, or I couldn't possibly pull off. So, unless anyone has any ideas I'm just going to be in the background.

Ok, well since I'm out of ideas and guess others don't have any ideas really for me either. I'm gonna just going to go stealth here. I was going to try and make it the Dragon, since I missed the Joe Con. But, not having an outfit etc.. I'm probably not going to do it now.

Now, now--is that the spirit of G.I. Joe? Where would we be if we all just gave up? Cobra would be in control--that's what!! Listen--Lady Jaye never really called to me either, but CGirl talked me into it, and there you have it. Wild Bill will attest to the fact that I can't stand guns, much less anything entertainment-wise dealing with the military. Trust me--War Movies/cartoons aren't my thing. And, for the record (forgive me Angie), I really hate the Transformers. But I went in to the Joe costume, if only to please my dear friends. It was the best decision I ever made. Please don't just bail because you *think* you can't find something you like. Try going outside your comfort zone a bit, and trying something that you would ordinarily do. Plenty of Joes are still available--and ya'll don't have to be the ninja or the man with the biggest gun. Hell, little characters like Mercer or Chuckles can be lots of fun to play. Plus, we can still "Grandfather" characters in, right? Sometimes it's nice to have more than one of the biggies--like two Snakeeyes, or two Flints. (Heck, I wouldn't mind two Flints myself!) And, well, if you decide not to go Joe afterall, at least (and I can't believe I'm saying this) consider Cobra? That way, you get to play in the Joe community, and not just give it up altogether (that would be a huge amount of sillliness, no?) Plus--think of us girls. Do you KNOW how HARD it is to have only seven options to pick from? With four of them picked already? Count yourself lucky!

I just don't want to do something that is already being done. *sigh* I just can't seem to find a place either here or at cobra.

Aw come on, you can't come up with not one single costume....what about Hector Ramirez from 20 Questions ....or get a parka and be Quinn the Eskimo....Worse case scenerio, Bling Bling and a Cape and be Mindbender....but seriously don't give up.....in the words of Rob Schneider....."YOU CAN DO IT..."

Sorry but if I can't pass for the character or have interest in them, I'm not going to do it. Very few left that haven't already been done.
Btw, Mindbender is Cobra.

Yes he is, has been for 20 some years.....relevant to earlier part of conversation.
However, if you wanna give up and not even try, that's your God given right as an american...by golly....and that's what GI Joe is fighting for, isn't it.....Besides this is a costuming group. That implies a costume at some stage in developement. I am a large man who doesn't fit the average STORMTROOPER figure....I got myself some star wars armor and am a pretty menacing trooper. I've seen a guy 3 times bigger than myself (no lie 3x) in Stormtrooper Armor.....
POINT: if you want it, do it.....DO or DO NOT.....ask for help only when you want people to help you......Can't never could.......possession is 9/10th of the law......I before E excempt after C and so On.....
Wow, I should really write for G.W.

You're a little to eloquent for G.W.

I'm sorry... Did they have large Stormtroopers? Did I watch the wrong trilogy over and over for the past twenty-something years?

They were only in the special, special, special, director's third cousin's next door neighbors, special widescreen edition. It came with a collectors set of donuts.. ;D
