Michael,
I think the other Duke the board members are refering too is me when I found this site I requested Duke, it's my dogs name as well.
I have to say off the bat that your costume rocks, I have yet to complete mine yet so as it stands you are Duke in my eyes. When my costume is complete I might begin to see you as a "spy clone Duke" created my the evil king pins over at Cobra in order to gain ensite to the inner workings of the Joes.
But for now keep up the good work and Go Joe!!
- That's all for now Duke...out

Thanks, guys. I'm hoping to wear it again to ComiCon this year, though I need to make some slight modifications to the bandoleer in order to make it hang just right. It's not very obvious in those pictures, but the point down at the bottom where the two ends are joined have to be resewn so that it'll lay down better.

The costume looks great!!!
As for the whole double issue. Well if you guys bump into each other. Just say the other guy is Zartan in disguise and vice versa. Unless there's a Zartan right there. Then I guess you would have to say someone was Agent Faces. If you don't mind using one of the new character names.
That's the great thing about Cobra and GI Joe. We have those masters of disguise. We might as well use it to our advantage.

Then I guess you would have to say someone was Agent Faces. And if both are there, then one of us Dukes could say they're a Synthoid.

Thanks. Question, though: was SPY TROOPS the introduction of Agent Faces? I'm only familiar with the original cartoon and don't remember him in that, so I figured he was a new character created for SPY TROOPS.

Actually to be honest, the original Duke we had here. Who is just Duke on the boards, in my view has the best outfit. Granted he had a problem with the shirt color at first. However, his outfit looks very good and not just like the figure but like Duke would in the real world. Also if you've seen him, he looks more like the character. Everyone is welcome to their opinions. I just think the original Duke here is the best of I guess three now. To be honest Michael24, you look more like Falcon than Duke. Or rather Falcon wearing Duke's clothes.
Why I'm having a difficult time finding a joe to do. I just don't look llike any of them really. To me, and to most people at conventions if you have the outfit yet don't look like them they will not know who you are.

I don't think a person should have to look exactly like the character. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to make a costume from any character from any cartoon. To me, having the costume look the same is enough, and anybody familiar with the show will recognize you. Yeah, I don't look anything like the cartoon Duke, but I still got compliments from some people at ComiCon who knew who I was dressed as.
