I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with something. I'm worried about finding a room to share in time for d-con. Any of you joes willing to help me out with this? Also when I complete my 'backpack' for my outfit I would really rather not check it at the airport because well really, a big old tank/pack looking thing isn't exactly going to seem 'normal', prop or not. Would anyone be willing to let me mail it to them and have them bring it to the con and keep it at their place afterward until I can send them the money to ship it back to me?
I really want to make it to D-CON this year to be with all of you. I may have created the 'home' here on the web for us 'JOES' but you all have brought life into its empty virtual 'halls' and I am happy everyones embraced the site and the concept of Joe costuming the way you all have. I wasn't too sure things would kick off so well. They started off slowly in fact but theres been a recent boom in interest. I'd like very much to come down to d-con and spend time with the people that make this group great. Any help would be most appreciated.

Well as of right now I am looking to get a room next to Law and Wild Bill. I will most likely be making that room the Home for Wayward Joes because I am the only one currently going to be staying in that room.

Barbie, yeah, the Pitt is currently housing Wild Bill, Lady Jaye, Shockwave, Scarlett, Gung-Ho and Myself in one room with Chuckles and two other friends (Steph, Herm)in the other so far. 6 is a good limit as 2 per bed and enough comfy floor space for 2 additional folks. If you need it I'm sure we'll have it...

I PMed Hawk and Snake Eyes a while back about getting in on a room together, as Lady Jaye's the only person at D-Con that I'll actually have met before getting there. But apparently, SHE is ditching my Rat ass (  ), as far as I know I'm still attached to the General and the Ninja. I don't want to speak for anyone, but maybe the three of us can fill out Chuckles's room next door to Bill and Jaye's. Is that a plan? or I can get Intell working on alternatives. |
