Greetings and Salutations all, I have met many but not all of you but I hope that my Kamakura makes the grade. I sincerely look forward Dragon*Con09 and the new movie! All that's missing IMHO is an american flag patch, G.I. JOE patch and Arashikage fake tat, I should have that ironed out by Sep. ! See you on MySpace! Thanx for lookin!

Was the forearm armor a found item, or did you make it yourself?

All of the "armor" used was purchased from Century Martial Arts Supply. I simply gave it a proper paint job upon arrival!

paintninja, Awesome job, Sir. I'll admit to being envious since I had hoped to be the first person to make a Kamakura costume. Alas, my expertise in procrastinating has rendered me another loss. Congratulations, though. You look great & will represent the Joe team well wherever you go in that costume! I still have to lose about 100 lbs. before I can look decent in any Joe costume. Perhaps we will meet as fellow Joe fans someday at a Dragon Con or other fan event where costumers congregate. My favorite Kamakura is the first version www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_092603b.htmeven though the tattoo on the figure was printed upside down! Ha, ha, ha. I am on MySpace at www.myspace.com/jayteeerricckbut you'd have easier luck finding me these days at www.facebook.com/JT800I hope you'll keep in touch & I hope you'll post lots of pictures of your adventures after this year's Dragon Con is said & done! Best wishes, Kamakura (so far, in name only) Supporting the Joe team since 1983

Greetings Joe fans, As of recent, I've fallen on a bit of hardtimes and found that I must unfortunatly sell my Kamakura costume. I thought I'd post it up here first as I figure any interest would lie here. I am offering the entire costume (as seen in the pics above) w/ the exception of the hood, sword and shoes(tabi) for $100 USD. First come. first served! Feel free to contact me at tbs_paintninja@yahoo.com, simply put "Kamakura" in the subject line. Many thanx in advance for your consideration.
