Well said Duke. Profiler nobody is knocking the fact you can't find a character you like or want to do. What bothers me is that EVERY post you make is along the lines of "This guy looks better, don't do that we have one" ect...I have not seen a pic on this site that looks like it was just "thrown together". They all look great and have love of the character in them. Of course you are intitled to your opinion, everyone is, but we all know your opinion is going to be some form of negative criticism. Just step down from your high horse and join us common folk. As the old adage goes "Shit or get off the pot" What the hell?! I've given more posotive than negative. I'm just not one to blow sunshine up another person's ass. Can I help it if I think one person's version of a character looks better than another? No. I give my opinion sometimes negative sometimes not. If I see something I like I point it out. If I find something that could be done better I give suggestions as to how that could be done. I am by no means on a high horse, unless giving a damn is being on a high horse.

maybe you need to remember how you felt when people pointed and laughed at you, how they insulted you all the time.....Doing what you're doing makes you no better than them. You're pointing at us and making rude remarks and wonder why people don't like you...If this was the REAL GI JOE, your teammates would sneak off of the battlefield to leave you face Cobra all by yourself....You ain't got our back, don't expect backup.
Maybe you need to rent a classic movie called REVENGE OF THE NERDS.....and when you're ready to be part of a TEAM....we'll talk.
Though I don't agree with what you say, I'll defend your right to say it....but if you wanna be little suzie naysayer...do some good and write HASBRO and tell them that their 12" figures don't look EXACTLY like the 3.75" figures.....and the new figures don't look EXACTLY like the '80s figures. So at least be an equal opportunity offender.

You need to start reading posts, then you might have some clue of what is going on.

As to team work, you Big Sarge know nothing of it and you know nothing about me. I bend over backwards to back up friends and team mates. You are new and don't know anything about what is going on, so stop acting like you do.
But, hey BigSarge being as you were most likely a Jock or wanted to be one you think you can walk in here and be the Jock again. Well guess what, it isn't going to happen.

Come on guys... chill out both of you. Can the naysaying. Can the namecalling.
BigSarge, we're not really a team. And you're not going to win him over by calling him names. How would you like it if he called you "Road Pig"?

We are all friends here, so there is no need to start getting flat out rude. Sometime friends get frustrated with one another and that is what has happened here. Nobody wants to start a flame war and have resentment over anything, we are all full on nerds. I am not going to apologize for anything I have typed, because it is nothing I would not say to anyone in "real life". I don't dislike anyone on these boards, I just got a little frustrated with the negitive tone of a fellow poster. That's it, no flame war, no hard feelings.

:: Offers up a Olive Branch of peace::
Ok I know I'm new here and I don't really know all of you, but after reading all this thred Profiler seams to me to be someone with a good eye for detale. Someone who wants to be an origenal character that everybody knows and will reconize.
There's have been many times I myself have done a costume that no one else or few people have done only to go out and find everybody asking "Who are you supost to be" (Sarge you know what I'm talking about. Toy R Us: "I'm a Stormtrooper, he's Jango fett, She's a Jedi and if you've got 5 minets we can tell you who he is.")
Profiler just want to do it to the best of his ablity. In his own way, offering up Contrucive Cridisime. Striving us to be all that we can be and do the very best costume we can make.
We all need to realize it's ok not to be 100% acturat, but if we do want to be, Profiler is really good at pointing out what we need to do, and if we can aford it, to go that extra mile.
As many have said we're all here to have fun and help each other out, and if we start tearing each other down for not being a 100% or just because we think we sould be then we're no better then the 501st
Yes I'm in that to, but we are all intitaled to our opentions and thou we may not agree with other peoples we must respect that they have there own.
YO JOE !!!

This is exactly what I'm sayin.... Profiler needs to realize that we are all trying to welcome him as a fellow geek/costumer/team mate.....but his attitude keeps getting in the way. We're all here to have fun and dress like toys and we don't need anybodys permission to do so. We want to hear what you CAN DO instead of constantly hearing what you CAN'T DO. It's not what you say but how you say it... Yeah, I may be new but I do have common courtesy and people skills....I have talent and determination, I have know how and intellegence, experience and imagination... and mostly I can't tear somebody down for a crappy costume.
I saw somebody walking around in a cardboard C3PO costume they made from scratch at one convention...It wasn't a "QUALITY" costume, but I know that they put some time, blood, sweat, and tears into making it and I have to give PROPS for just doing it and on time.
So to PROFILER I say....I know a lot more about most things than you give me credit for.....BUT if it makes you feel bigger to tear me down than by all means, because I am secure with who I am, what I look like, what I know, and how I behave... I have confidence in myself. I still offer a hand in friendship for when you come to terms with yourself and your negativity, and want to be part of what looks to be a great group.
To everyone else, The costumes look great, very well done. The only real opinion that really matters is yours, of course....your costume is done when you say it is. I've seen some awesome pieces, here and on Cobracares. I plan on sticking around becaus there is some great talent in this outfit....I may even learn some new tricks.
