I don't personally know of any members in SC, you might be the first. Welcome!
With a board name like tankjockey, maybe a Steeler costume?

Thanks for having me aboard. I think I accidentally deleted the start of the thread. Tankjockey is my name on an Airsoft forum, (SCAA) figured it kind of applied to G.I. Joe. Also, I was a tank jockey for a few years during my time in the Army (19K M1A1 Tank Crewman). I got the costuming bug 2 years ago. My first one was a Transformers Gen 1 Megatron. I figured I'd try my hand at my other childhood pleasure. Right now I'm trying to decide between Stalker, Beach Head, Torpedo, or Doc. Probably with a classic/modern feel to it. Suggestions?

Torpedo sounds like it would be good.

We've never, ever had a Stalker. And he was an original. That's my vote but man, go with your gut and your fav. Any of those are good choices though I know a few Beach Heads are about already.

Yeah, I think I'm leaning towards Stalker. I'm leaning towards a classic/modern blend. It's weird how he kind of goes unnoticed. He helped Gen. Hawk recruit the original Joe team and was second in command before Duke. Maybe his code name makes it hard to give him to much focus. It's not very PC.

That's probably why he wasn't in the movie...lol.
Stalking is actually a technique used by military snipers when they track their targets. He was a Ranger, and Ranger battalions do have sniper sections so that could explain his name.

Man, I was talking you up with the Florida Joes this weekend and we were all jazzed for Stalker. If you can pull it together we would be a rockin'!
