Ladies and Gentleman... Kimmer has returned! Start your engines!
Also, since the practice of gender-bending is now acceptable... wait for the explicit pics of my new costume, The Baron!

You know I am getting a feeling some of you were the same group of people who as kids if a girl wanted to play with the Joes they were told," Only if you play with the girl Joes. Like LJ, Baroness, Scarlett and Jinx. Otherwise you cannot play." That is like saying all girls should play only with barbies no trucks or Joes.
I have been collecting Joe stuff since the 80's, and when my brother was killed in a car accident, i inherated his Joes. A nice collection too.
My husband takes my 12 inch Joes every time he is deployed, to use on my webpage still in progress.
You know that is sad, cause I have a feeling I can pull this off pretty well. I am just asking for a little support and answers to questions to make this the best costume i can make. My love for GI Joe outranks my gender. Once in costume, i have a feeling you will not be able to tell.
(I recently got most of my hair cut off also due to the heat and I was tired of it getting in the way. patients do funny things with other people's hair even in a ponytail )
WTH is Kimmer?

Sorry, this isn't a "boys play with boy's toys, girls play with girl's toys" thing. We're all pretty progressive in our viewpoints. (And I think our Scarlett would snap Law's neck like a dry twig) As a group we've had a recent bad experience with an overzealous costumer who was really into trying to do female versions of male characters. Now as a whole... it doesn't seem like a bad idea, but bear in mind that we are going for a classic look. Some folks just wouldn't get it if I dressed up like Stalker or Lady Jaye. Heck at one con we attended some folks knew Mercer, Chuckles, Wild Bill, and Mutt... but didn't get me as Duke. Guess I need name tape that says "Duke"... but hey. If you think you can pull off Dusty, go for it. Nothing says you can't.

I've never seen her... I think some folks on the board have though.
But she came in and would literally spam the boards with hundreds of posts a day. She was quite interesting.
And she always wanted to do this female version of 1 male Joe... but she always changed her mind which Joe each hour. no lie.

Sorry I am not her, WHEW! Sorry will not try to spam ya all, just have a lot of questions. No ranting of insanity here either.

Then welcome! Also, we're a pretty inbred group (not Deliverance inbred) Since we all know each other very well, we tend to really rag on everyone (Ed= Jedi Nuts!). Don't take it personally, and just roll with the punches. As long as you aren't Kimmer!
